According to Puff’s attorney, Cassie allegedly cheated on Dee Dee with her now-husband for years.
Cassie cheated on her current husband
On Tuesday (September 17), Inner City Press reported on X that Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, was in court with Magistrate Judge Robin F. Tarnowski (Robyn F. Tarnofsky) tried to downplay Puff’s abusive behavior while talking. Agnifilo hopes to convince a judge to grant Didi bail after he was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation for prostitution.
Speaking to the judge, Agnifilo acknowledged that his client was not a “perfect person” and said the “toxic relationships” he was in were often “mutual.” He then focused on the 2016 video of Cassie being beaten by Diddy in a Los Angeles hotel, adding that Cassie had been cheating on Puff.
“Somehow this hotel footage got leaked,” Agnifilo said, according to Inner City Press. “I want to know how this happened. We don’t have it. The government has it. It’s on Donald Trump did not have any court proceedings the day it was leaked that Mr. Combs had seen it and issued an apology. Friend question, okay?
He went on to say that Cassie allegedly became upset after checking Dee Dee’s phone. “Victim 1 was looking at his phone and saw this and hit him in the head with the phone and took his clothes away,” Agnifilo said. “So he came out in a towel. The two fell in love. Victim 1 eventually married the coach Mr. Coombs found for her. But now that she has two children, she realizes that she and Coombs have been cheating on each other for years. Mr. Si has very good connections.
After dating Puff for six years, Cassie began dating personal trainer Alex Fine in 2018. They got married in August 2019 and currently have two daughters.
The statement from Dee Dee’s attorney ultimately did not sway Judge Tarnowski, who denied Paff bail. On Wednesday (September 18), Agnifilo attempted to appeal to a second federal judge. The judge dismissed the appeal and said Didi must remain in jail until he stands trial.
