Lato revealed she’s pregnant in the music video for the lead single from her new album Big Mama, with 21 Savage visually caressing her belly.
Rumors about the Atlanta rapper’s possible pregnancy have been circulating for months. She confirmed the news on Friday (March 20) by sharing the cover art for her newly released album Big Mama, which shows her holding a cheetah with her pregnant belly clearly visible.
She also released the music video for album cut “Business & Personal (Intro),” which puts her pregnancy on full display. Although 21 Savage’s face is not shown, his hands can be seen holding Lato’s belly in multiple scenes.
Last September, Lato confirmed she was dating 21 Savage. Back in 2020, there were rumors that the two rappers were a couple. But until recently, they denied dating.
Latto’s new Big Mama album is scheduled to be released on May 29th.
The Atlanta rapper confirmed the news after teasing the surprise in a video shared on social media on Thursday afternoon (March 19). In the video, only Lato’s legs are visible as she feeds the cub a bottle of milk.
“I will not disappear,” she says in the video. “I have to give you all time to miss me. Before you start playing, you have to take one small step and walk the entire journey. Go home to the studio. Studio home. Listen to every beat. Feel every kick. I’ve always dreamed of having my own since I was a little girl. Great mom, but this time the stakes are higher. Now, I’m going to make good on that promise.”
