Kodak Black can now add film executive producer to his resume, with the rapper set to serve as EP on the upcoming supernatural thriller Gone Missin’ .
Kodak Black CEO makes new film
On Wednesday (July 10), Yak shared a trailer for the new film on Instagram, which can be seen below. Set in Silver Lake, Alabama, the film revolves around a woman who travels to a small town in search of a missing person and stumbles upon a larger conspiracy involving a hidden small-town evil. The upcoming film is directed by South Florida rapper Vincent Escobar for the South Florida rapper’s company, KTB Media.
Yak captioned the trailer: “We present to you a ‘missing’ supernatural thriller! The first TV series released by my film company! I want to thank you all in advance. Zoovies and TV series coming soon. Directed by @Wearethemoviemen /make.
A release date for the film has yet to be announced.
This isn’t Kodak Black’s first foray into film. Last May, he made his feature film debut in the short film “The Don,” playing a deranged crime boss.

Kodak black is busy
While Yak hasn’t given up on his solo projects for 2024, he’s been keeping busy. He has released several singles and the compilation album Vulture Love Presents: The Last Zombies on Earth. Kodak has been feeling good since announcing in April that his drug use was under control. Last month, he opened up about his past drug use on a show and said he regretted his famously fake perc lyrics on “Super Gremlin.”
