Kim Kardashian just shot the ultimate thirst trap while vacationing in Brazil, and these ocean photos are absolutely everything your timeline needs.
The reality TV mogul took to Instagram to post a series of jaw-dropping photos from her recent trip to Rio de Janeiro, where she promoted her upcoming Hulu series All’s Fair. But forget the red carpet glamour—her after-get off work aquatic adventures had everyone riveted.
“Shipwrecked in Rio,” she captioned the viral upload, showing herself frolicking in the waves wearing nothing but a completely see-through, nude Alexander McQueen vintage gown that left absolutely nothing to the imagination.

Originally from McQueen’s Spring 2003 collection, this flowy chiffon piece hugs every curve like an ocean goddess as Kim Kardashian swims in the water.
The dress was inspired by “drowned maidens” and pirates, making her nighttime swims feel like pure artistic destiny.
This isn’t just a random vintage piece, either; we’re talking about a museum-quality gown featured in the 2011 “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The original fashion show even included footage of a model floating to the bottom of the sea wearing the dress, making Kim’s performance both brilliant and a little unhinged. While fashion purists may be clutching their pearls and plunging such a historic piece into literal salt water, Kim’s followers were too busy throwing fire emojis to worry about preservation.
The photo shows her completely submerged in the water, the delicate fabric forming the most alluring silhouette in Rio’s dark waters.
Sister Kohler couldn’t help but point out the wild factor, commenting: “You’re such a weirdo in the water at night! It’s super dark outside in those photos!! Are you okay?”
This marks Kim’s second exit from McQueen’s legendary Spring 2003 collection. She previously wore the designer’s signature Oyster dress at the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which was reportedly gifted by then-husband Kanye West.
