The sooner he and K.Dot get out of this mess, the better for their careers, and the latter is clearly benefiting from it now.
Kendrick Lamar streams blockbuster movies on Spotify via GNX
While a lot of people are watching GNX, there are also a lot of people who don’t like Kendrick Lamar’s new album, including Compton rapper Snoopy Badazz. He dismissed the project as “trash” and defended Drake, saying he was in no danger in Los Angeles and was still good. Not surprisingly, this has elicited many mixed reactions from naysayers and yes-men alike. Whatever the reason, a large part of the negative impact on the pgLang lyricist is his association with Compton and how he developed within the broader music industry.
Still, it’s clear that a lot of people are thoroughly enjoying this latest effort and will continue to pound GNX for some time to come. Kendrick Lamar also has people very excited for what’s coming next, especially considering the Super Bowl halftime show is coming soon. We’ll see how far the debate over numbers goes in the coming weeks.
