Kendrick Lamar hates Drake. This was once a speculative statement, but after the release of his diss song “Euphoria,” it was confirmed to be fact. The rapper hates the way Drake talks and acts, and according to DJ Akademiks, he hates when Drake tries to be nice and cliquey. The internet personality dropped a bombshell during a live broadcast on May 2 when he revealed that Drake invited Lamar to appear on his 2023 hit “First Person Shooter.”
“First Person Shooter” is the song that kicks off the war between Drake and Lamar. In the song, J. Cole and 6 God trade opinions on being the best of their generation, with the former calling out Lamar as the third of the so-called “Big Three.” Apparently, this reference is a glimpse into the original version of the first-person shooter. According to DJ Akademiks, Drake asked J. Cole and Lamar to contribute lyrics, but Lamar wanted nothing to do with him or the song. In fact, he was so put off by the proposal that he wrote a diss “like that”.

He jumped on the phone with Kay Senat and told him there wouldn’t be any objections anytime soon. “Drake won’t fall tonight,” he said. “He’ll go down soon though, but not tonight.”
