Hot selling media! Kendrick Lamar just made a physical copy of GNX available on his website. If you want to buy a specific format, you can click on the first “[Via]” Link below. But for those who want to know what’s available and all the other details on one page, here’s what you need to know. In total, there are five different ways to get your hands on a tangible version of Lamar’s sixth studio album. Buy four, but no more.
Then, there are also two unique color variants. There is one white and the other black. However, the latter differs from the original vinyl record in that it weighs 180 grams. For those who don’t know, these discs are heavier and generally produce better sound quality than standard discs. Their weight usually ranges from 120-150 grams. White is priced the same as traditional vinyl, but costs $37.00 for 180 grams.
Kendrick Lamar is definitely going to do a ton of stuff
However, Kendrick Lamar hasn’t forgotten about CD and cassette tape users. The former costs $14 and comes in gray. The latter comes in black and costs $20.00. Finally, there’s a digital option, which costs $10 and is only available to US customers. All of these are pre-orders and will not ship for now. In fact, all of these physical variants will ship on or before March 1, 2025.
Additionally, there are no exclusive bonus tracks for anyone who decides to purchase GNX in any format. This may be disappointing to some, but there’s no doubt this is still a hot commodity. None of the options seem to be limited, so it looks like there will be plenty available. Finally, since these are pre-orders, any placements will not count toward first-week sales numbers.
