Kendrick Lamar’s history cannot and will not stop. Earlier this year, Kendrick became the first music artist ever to make his debut in the Gatorade movement.
Note that this is also in a big way – from his voice for the ad, with music inside, becoming a campaign face and continuing the fierce attack on Drake. In any sense, Kendrick’s actions were calculated accurately in a way that inspires the whole West and its spirit.
Now, Kendrick is a part of the Gatorade movement for the second time, making history again. A piece of ad that can be picked up where we stop and call back and forth by using the “Down, Drop, Drop” pattern. Check it out below!
In a commercial disguised as an inspirational sports video, Kendrick talks about the more he loses, the more he wins. In doing so, he talks about what is lost for success: time, sweat, and equality. The soundtrack is presented by his hit song “Peekaboo” feat. azchike.
In a sense, he is talking about getting ready and putting his work into his work every day – losing sweat to win. Lose in practice so he can shine during game time. Considering Kendrick was pushed down, it was a truly incredible move by Joey to call him out too. What do you think?
