As fans wait and theorize Kendrick’s next move and the possible expansion of the GNX album, the man himself has made history with sports drink ads.
Kendrick Lamar officially became the first artist to do so with his voice, appearance and music in the latest ad for Gatorade.
The ad is about winning, which in turn cements Kendrick’s victory against Drake in beef. You may remember that he named the Glory Winner in “Don’t Like Us.” More specifically, though, the ad is actually about sweating, and the fact that who wants to sweat and can sweat more, ultimately winning.
Kendrick is eager to consolidate his name in the culture and take hip-hop to new heights, and it fits well with its global image. What do you think?
