Duane “Keefe D” Davis will still seek a chance to be released on bail while awaiting trial for the murder of 2Pac. After a Nevada judge denied his latest attempt to be released on bail, his attorney Carl Arnold confirmed the decision to Newsweek. He needed $750,000 to complete the job and struck a deal with Wack 100, but a judge found the money’s origins suspicious.
“We are disappointed with the court’s decision to deny Mr. Davis bail, especially given Konvict Bail Bonds’ thorough review of the source of funds prior to the source hearing,” Arnold said. “We firmly believe there is a lack of substantial evidence that Mr. Davis intended to profit from his alleged connection to this case.”

Wacker called the court via Zoom and claimed the funds came from his company, 100 Entertainment. “I’ve known him since he passed away. I’ve known his son. When he was battling cancer, we sat down a few times and talked about generally personal things. Personal things, industry things. Just normal conversations, “I’ve been an important figure in our community and I’ve helped a lot of people in our community, whether it’s funerals, whether it’s bail,” Wacker said. He also promised that he would only be interviewed after the trial.
