Ye’s verse comes shortly after the release of the AI-enhanced Drake diss track, which features the artificially generated voices of 2Pac and Snoop Dogg.
Less than a week after “Push Ups” leaked online on Friday (April 19), the Canadian superstar escalated his feud with K.Dot with a new collaboration. While the authenticity of his first comeback was briefly subject to speculation, “Taylor Made Freestyle” openly embraced artificial intelligence and utilized the computer-generated voices of 2Pac and Snoop Dogg to convey a point of view other than Drizzy’s – using lyrics written by Drake.
The 37-year-old referenced Taylor Swift’s new album and TDE boss Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffany after using the two legends’ opinions to force his opponent to back off his response. Top Dawg” Tiffith)’s bar: “But now we gotta wait a fucking week” Cause Taylor Swift is your new top/If you’re gonna give up, she’s gotta approve/This girl is really gonna make you act Like you weren’t in an argument/she tailored a schedule for you with ants and you weren’t a part of it.
Shortly after the song went live, Akademiks revealed on a live stream that he received a text message from the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker that read: “Well you know I’m trying to get off tour and relax. N-ggas fuck Smashed my whole feng shui. Now I have to eat until this debate is over.
The Compton native is also ready to respond, according to Joe Budden Podcast host Antwan “Ish” Marby, who also claims the level of viciousness rivals that of 2Pac’s “Hit Em Up.”
