Kanye West and JAY-Z’s relationship has become rocky over the past eight years, and the former’s new comments may not help matters.
On Wednesday (August 7), voluble political commentator Candace Owens uploaded a previously unpublished interview with Ye, which was filmed in October 2022 when Ye’s “White Lives Matter” “Today’s Lives” shirts and anti-Semitic comments received backlash.
During the conversation, Owens discussed her admiration for JAY-Z, to which Kanye gruffly replied: “I just think [Be]”You need to let him go get something, seriously.” Then he burst out laughing, and Owens chuckled awkwardly.
Ye further suggested that Hough should seek sexual pleasure outside of marriage, Ye added: “Go to the doctor [Dominican Republic] Or something, you know what I mean? And then said, “I don’t know if you’re going to run that line.”
The Chicago native also called his former Roc-A-Fella label boss “the greatest rapper of all time,” while praising Drake as “the best rapper of all time.”
“I just think [Beyoncé] Need to let him do some shit, seriously.

Considering the last time Kanye West mentioned his family in a negative way and the “Watch the Throne” collaborators fell out, it’s unlikely that his comments would go down well with JAY-Z.
During the ill-fated St. Pablo tour in 2016, West was disappointed that his children weren’t invited to play with Jay and Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy.
In another show, he accused Jiga of not returning calls and said: “I know you have killers. Please don’t send them over my head. Call me. Talk to me like a man .
The Roc Nation mogul later responded to Ye’s comments on his 4:44 song “Kill Jay Z,” rapping: “You dropped out of school, you lost your principles/I know people backstabbed you, I feel bad too /But this ‘fuck everyone’ attitude is unnatural/But you are not a saint, this is not Kumbaya.
“But you’re hurt because you gave him twenty million in the blink of an eye through ‘yeah/he gave you twenty minutes on stage, what the fuck was he thinking?’/”Everybody did him What the hell is wrong? ” That’s what you say/ But if everyone’s crazy, then you’re the one who’s crazy.
Jay also admitted in an interview with the Rap Radar Podcast that he felt Kanye “crossed a line” by mentioning his wife and daughter, adding: “That’s a problem for me now.”
Although the rap giants finally reunited in 2021 on Donda’s song “Jail,” Kanye continues to express his displeasure with his “big brother.”
Later that year, in his explosive Drink Champs interview, he called Hough “selfish” for keeping the “Holy Grail” of his Justin Timberlake-assisted solo album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, instead Their collaboration with Watch the Throne.
