Kanye West locked it behind the $200 STEM Player Paywall and finally released Donda 2 on the main streaming platform.
The split rapper gave up the 18-track project Tuesday night (April 29). Originally released in February 2022, Donda 2 is now available on Spotify, YouTube Music and Tides, but has not yet surfaced on Apple Music.
West made his debut on a live stream with Digitas Nas, N3on and Sneako and hinted that he could continue to tweak the mix even after release.
But fans are quick to point out the sharp contrast between Kanye West’s once flyer’s stadium listening event and the low-key streaming preview – interpreting it as a sign of his decline.

The album includes a collaboration with Future (who works as executive producer), Jack Harlow, Sean Leon and Ty Dolla logos, and a voice edit by Kim Kardashian on the “Scifi” track.
“I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he is the richest black man in America. A talented, legal genius who gave me four talented and incredible kids,” Kardashian said in the sample.
At the time, West’s decision to limit Donda 2 to STEM player (a proprietary device he co-created) emitted a rebound.
He defended the move by criticizing streaming platforms for their low spending and claimed he made $2.2 million from STEM player sales in just 24 hours.
Kanye West teases new album Dave Blunts
The streaming release marks a significant change in West’s distribution strategy, making Donda 2 widely accessible for the first time. The show was launched in a series of events at West, where they have been laughing at new music and causing controversy online.
West’s next project, called “Keck”, was renamed from its original title, World War II, on April 21.
The album is a collaboration with rapper Dave Blunts, with no confirmed release date. West confirmed that Blunts wrote all the songs in the project.
The album’s artwork has two characters in red and white costumes, similar to Ku Klux Klan Robes, citing controversial 2015 images. West made a series of inflammatory statements during the launch, including calling his music “anti-Semitism” and declaring himself a Nazi on social media.
Two singles, “World War II” and “Cousin” have been released. “Cousin” contains lyrics about family members and quotes an incest relationship, a relationship that West publicly discusses online.
