Last week, Yung Miami launched a new episode of her podcast, Caresha Please, discussing a variety of topics she’s often asked about. She discusses her career, her relationship with Diddy, and of course, where she stands with JT. The pair have gone their separate ways in recent months, leaving fans wondering if the city girls are still a couple.
Yung Miami said that while she will always consider JT family, they no longer see eye to eye creatively. “We’ve outdone each other,” she explains. “She was in Los Angeles and I was in Miami. Every time we tried to get together, it didn’t work out. When we tried to get together, we dressed differently.
JT says she’s “still a city girl”
This has fans curious about JT’s story, for obvious reasons. She shared this in a recent interview with Complex. According to her, pursuing solo careers “makes sense” to both of them, and they have “no hard feelings.” While supporters may not be receiving another City Girls album anytime soon, JT noted that she will always be a City Girl at heart.
“I was like Tina Turner, I was still a city girl. I needed my name. That was the most important thing about me and I could never escape being a city girl,” she describes. “But I feel like it makes a lot of sense for both of us, both in terms of the direction we’re going in and what we’re focused on.” What are your thoughts on JT speaking out about the ending of Girls?
