John Legend has not given up on his disdain for Donald Trump, calling the former president a “proven and unmitigated racist.”

Legend also discussed his own history with the criminal justice system, revealing the time his mother and other relatives spent in prison. However, he said Trump is benefiting from pretrial freedoms not available to ordinary citizens.
