Joey Bada $$ all took part in the competitive rap wave, who swallowed the scene after Kendrick-Drake’s showdown – he wanted all the smoke.
The rapper brought a brand new EP, pardoned me, where he showed some perfect writing. With California currently dominating radio waves, Joey’s project reminds many listeners that they will never count New York.

The EP consists of three tracks – a new track, and two appeared a few weeks later. The triple bundle is a cohesive listening experience that alternates between lush instruments and clever writing. Of course, the infamous “Ruler’s Back” is part of it – Joey’s debut in 2025, talking about being the King of New York while filming on the West Coast rapper. Now, while many fans think Joey’s goal is Kendrick, that’s not the case. Maybe that’s Joey’s love for the game and his once lost competitiveness.

He has received the memo and has set the pace steadily in a better half in 2025. Joey is a blogging rapper with a lot of experience (not to mention 1999, his exquisite mixtape under his belt). Will he manage to turn to more people while keeping up with young blood like Ray Vaughn and veterans (like Daylyt) (they are all ready to reply)? Well, this is a question to be answered. Now you can listen to the EP below!
