Jim Jones compares Nas’ career comparison, and Jomo seems to have a little point. Maybe not the one he wanted to make.
Jim Jones rejects NAS career comparison
On Thursday (June 19), Capo appeared on Fat Joe and Jadakiss’ New Joe and Jada Podcast. While sitting down, Jim was asked about the young artist who recently compared him to Nas.
Jones said on the 29:07 timestamp of the interview below: “I am a superior fan of Nas,” Jones said. “I would never take that from him. But when I was in the competition, you had to realize that your idol became a competitor. Don’t take anything from it. I developed my own style and these kids started to attract people, the same way I was when I was young.”
Jones believes that Nas’ popularity among young people has declined, and he continues to be associated with the younger generation.
“My son can tell you a NAS record,” Jones continued. “Let’s keep a sum of money. There must be some misunderstanding when Jim Jones and Jim Jones do in the game. Many of these rappers do a great job. I have nothing. I stay away from them. But they forget, they forget, I receive a HelluvaCatalog. HelluvaCatalog. Golden Records, Platinum Records, Platinum Records.
“I won’t take anything from anyone,” Jones added. “But I heard the comparison. Ni** tried to be funny. No, I’ve been spanking. I’m talking about the industry. I’ve been saying… If you want to go to a billboard entry, pull up the Nas Billboard entry and pull up my Billboard.”

Jim Jones and Nas
Jones may want to do more research. According to Billboard, Jimmy has two songs that hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart, “We Fly High” and “Pop Champagne,” which include Ron Browz and Juelz Santana. NAS, on the other hand, released 27 songs on the same chart.
As for the Billboard 200 chart, NAS has 24 titles, including 6 items that ranked No. 1. By comparison, Jones has nine projects to make charts and has three top 10.
Jim Jones Verzuz?
Jim Jones’ confidence in his work is admirable. Back in February, he claimed in an interview with the breakfast club that he hit more than most New York rappers when asked about possible Verzuz hit fights. This triggered a response from 50 Cent, who called Jomo Delusional.
