Often seen as neglected but well-known for his lyrical abilities, rapper Jid returns with a new freestyle. Titled ’32 (Freestyle), the track is a brand of Atlanta rappers and releases freestyle every year.
With this, Gider made a bold move and jumped onto the script carti instrument. The rhythm in question comes from Carti’s recent album Music, which makes fans beg for Baby Boi.
Now, it’s usually not the instrument you think Jid would choose, a lyrical rapper, but him. In doing so, he made it clear that he would not be packed in a box or a strange sound.
Carti fans on X are taking the time to digest the move and may grow in them anyway. On the other hand, in launching his own album, Jid’s fan base is very fond of his albums ugly. What do you think?
