Jhene Aiko has revealed the sad news that her home in Los Angeles burned down due to fires in the area.
The singer shared the latest news on her Instagram Story, saying her home had “burned down.” She said: “My home and my children’s home is gone. All our stuff has been burned down. Please have mercy on the Lord. Thank you that we still have each other. Starting from scratch, my heart is so heavy.
As citizens fled the burning inferno, firefighters continued to put out several catastrophic wildfires that broke out across Los Angeles on Thursday, playing out an apocalyptic spectacle. At least five fires are still burning in Los Angeles County, with more than 40 square miles burning across the region, according to news organizations.

Mayor Karen Bass said at a news conference on Thursday that “heroic” firefighters, aided by aerial operations, were making progress in extinguishing the blaze.
“Historic winds and widespread drought created a perfect storm to drive people out of their homes, take away people’s homes and take away people’s lives,” Bass said. “This is absolutely unprecedented. It’s a historic storm, but we’re all in.”
