Jermaine Dupri Says So So Def Biopic Is “Officially in Production”

Jermaine Dupri confirmed that the long-rumored So So Def biopic has officially moved into production.

The film will highlight JD’s rise, the creation of So So Def, and the careers of artists like Bow Wow, Xscape, Da Brat, Jagged Edge and more.

JD says the goal is to tell “the real Atlanta story — not just the charts, but the struggle, the grind, and the culture we built.”
