Jeannie Mai claims Jeezy subpoenaed her bank records for the sole purpose of harassing, embarrassing and intimidating her.
Jeezy’s ex-wife Jeannie Mai has accused the rapper of harassing her and asked a judge to quash a subpoena for her bank records.
Although their divorce was finalized in June, the former couple is still in court after Mai accused Jeezy of contempt of court in September. She claims her ex-husband failed to fulfill several terms of the divorce agreement.
However, Jeannie Mai claims in a new filing that Jeezy issued a “secret subpoena” to City National Bank demanding her personal and business bank account statements, deposit slips and evidence of withdrawals from before November 1 .
Her attorneys claimed that the “subpoena was overly broad and oppressive” and was “issued for the sole purpose of embarrassing and harassing Ms. Mai.”
The lawyer continued: “Given that [Jeezy’s] A tendency to default on financial obligations, both in his prior unrelated custody cases and based on the number of lawsuits filed by his former employees and associates against him for non-payment of debts, is evident. [Jeezy] The motive for issuing the summons stated that the purpose of the summons was nothing more than to harass and intimidate Ms Mak.

Mai claimed in the September filing that Jeezy owed $4,000 for tuition and child care, and more than $92,000 to cover four months of her rent. Additionally, she said the “Okay (Remix)” hitmaker refused to transfer the two cars awarded to her in the settlement and that she never gained access to a $500,000 account Jeezy set up for his children.
Jeezy denies Jeannie Mai’s settlement accusations
Jeezy denied the claims and accused Mai of “blatant misrepresentations” and “misleading and deceiving” the court. He claimed that when asked to confirm her rent, Mai provided a “fraudulent” lease agreement.
His lawyer claimed that “the lease agreement consists of [Jeannie] is fraudulent,” adding that Mai failed to hand over the child care receipt.
Additionally, Jeezy denied Mai’s claims that he failed to deposit the six-figure amount into their daughter’s account and said the DMV was processing the vehicle transfer request.
