Cam’ron and Ma$e received a stern warning from J. Prince over their spat with boxer Shakur Stevenson.
The feud began last week when the “It Is What It Is” co-host criticized Stevenson’s recent world title defense against Artem Harutyunyan as boring.
Now, Rap-A-Lot Records founder J. Prince (who also serves as Stevenson’s manager) is criticizing the Harlem rappers-turned-sports personalities for boxing Stevenson Hand shot.
“The numbers don’t lie, the haters do,” Prince wrote on Instagram. Let the haters say he’s boring and no one wants to look at him. I’m sorry to tell you, but these are just a few of you haters.
“As you can see, the evidence suggests he’s No. 1 in ratings among all games on ESPN this year and in the top three starting in 2022.”
He then addressed Cam and Ma$e directly: “For all the haters who want to escalate the feud outside the ring, I am Shakur’s manager and I handle all of his affairs outside the ring. In other words, Cam and Ma$e I Will fade all his shots and take all bets.
While Killa Cam and Ma$e have yet to respond, the official It Is What It Is Instagram account posted a video of Stevenson’s promoter Bob Arum acknowledging the fighter’s defense Style doesn’t attract fans.
They also wrote in the caption: “This fight is ‘free 99’ so yes #’s do lie sometimes, N-GGAS are outraged by what we say others have said including #SHAKUR signed ‘FOH’ people.
Stevenson had previously threatened to knock out Camron after he mocked him in the ring for his lack of punching power, but the Dipset legend quickly fired back: “First you told me to buckle up Wear, and then you said wear gloves. So I said what I said. And now you act like I’m threatening you?
“Are you going to knock me out now? You couldn’t even knock out a 135 pound n-ggas. Anyway, Shakur tweeted, you won and you’re not signing with anyone now, No one wants to fight you because you can’t sell tickets, so I have time to dig into it.
He added: “Your Twitter battles are even more intense than they were last Saturday.”
