J. Cole dropped the second episode of his “May Be Deleted” vlog series, giving fans some new music and behind-the-scenes footage from his ongoing tour.

Published on Monday (March 18), may be removed later, Volume 1. 2 looks back at more of Cole’s travels, touring with Drake as part of “It’s All a Blur — Big As the What?” including performances by Central Cee, Benny the Butcher, Lil Yachty, Sexyy Red and more.

In a preview of the song shared on Cole’s Instagram Stories, he raps: “Go to sleep at night and pray to God to release the stress/Now I’m on a G4 jet across the ocean to de-stress/My latest text, how much are you Thinking? Well, guessed it!/They said, ‘Cole, who are you going to kill next on this feature?'”

The new vlog episode, released less than a month after the first installment, offers similar footage as well as individual song previews. All of the above media was posted via an Instagram account called @mightdeletelater26, which appears to be Cole’s “burner” account.

The 39-year-old hasn’t released a new project since the 2021 off-season. In 2023, he confirmed that his long-awaited next album would be titled The Fall Off , but he has yet to set a release date.

J. Cole, Nicki Minaj, ScHoolboy Q and more to perform at Dreamville Music Festival 2024

March 7, 2024

The Dreamville boss has shared an announcement about “To Summer, From Cole,” the opening track from Summer Walker’s Clear 2: Soft Life EP, which dropped last May.

The North Carolina rapper’s heartfelt lyrics blend with Walker’s tender melodies to form the duo’s “audio embrace,” reminiscent of his uplifting poem about self-acceptance at the end of Logic’s “AfricAryaN.”

“I was thinking about you, I heard you just had another baby/Congratulations, I hope you get through this/I think it’s amazing, the way you juggle kids, business, fame, those nasty bitches /They sit there waiting for you to fall, like the album I’m making,” he raps.

J. Cole first announced The Fall Off back in 2020, sharing a post on Instagram laying out his release plans for The Fall Off Era. The article also mentions Off-Season (his sixth album, released the following year), a possible project called It’s a Boy, and finally The Fall Off.

Cole’s longtime manager Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad recently named “The Fall Off” as the song he’d most like to see the rapper perform from start to finish on tour album, which makes the project even more exciting.

In his latest video blog, Cole said the album currently has six different versions and will be released sometime this year.
