Previous story:
J. Cole fans are in for a treat, as all of the rapper’s early mixtapes are finally showing up on the streaming service for the first time. Most consider “Warm Up” and “Friday Night Lights” to be better than most of his albums, so finally having them available for streaming in their complete form is a huge accomplishment.
There’s more big news for Cole fans this morning. The rapper is releasing an exclusive version of 2014’s Forest Hills Drive vinyl record, which includes “never-before-heard bonus tracks from the era that can only be heard on this exclusive edition.” Limited to 2,014 copies.
You may remember that 2014FHD was a double-disc album at one point, so there was a lot of leftover music from that era. There’s no word yet on how many additional songs there will be, but whatever there are, it doesn’t sound like they’ll be coming to streaming.
You can pre-order the vinyl here . Shopping on December 6th.
