Remember Wiz Khalifa’s recent claim that he should be in J. Cole’s latest release “Clouds” and how he didn’t know when Cole would give it up?
Well, that was in the last week of February, and because of its somewhat spread, Cole did fulfill his promise: The song is related to Wiz Khalifa’s poem, and is now J. Cole’s personal blog, inevitable.
So far, it’s unclear whether the official collaboration will be released on streaming services, but if Cole’s new release strategy is any evidence, it’s likely to prove it, and the blog version is just to get core fans to get it early.
Speaking about Wiz’s verse, Cole said on his blog “Wiz Skating.” Tgod. He kept waving. “Cole gave the rapper flowers and also shouted at his other joint with Premo Rice, Harry Draud and Curren $Y (titled “Jill Scott”), a track that TJ Warren played for Cole.
As Wiz prepares to put an album this year, a series of freestyles floods our ears. It seems that the mixtape and blog era both seem to be back in 2025. What do you think?
