J. Cole lists his current favorite tracks from The Fall-Off in an open letter to fans.
The North Carolina rapper took to his Inevitable Live website on Wednesday night (March 11) to leave a message to his supporters to update them on how the past month has been since the release of his new album.
“What’s good about it, y’all. It took me about a week and a half to fully recover from my luggage sales trip, and now I’m back on this regular program called LIFE! ” Cole wrote. “I was exhausted after the last leg leaving LA and it got me thinking about this upcoming tour… it’s 6 months away!! Sheeeeeeeesh!! But I’m excited,” he added, referring to his upcoming The Fall-Off world tour.
Cole went on to thank fans for their support of the chart-topping album and said he, too, is enjoying the project in a different way than he has in the past.
“I usually abandon a project and get so tired of working on it that I don’t want to hear about it after it’s released,” Cole continued. “But this song is different. My favorite song right now is ‘The Let Out’… ‘Poor Thang’ and ‘I love she Again’ are slowly getting back there as well.”
Cole said he will be updating his blog and giving interviews more regularly before the tour now that people have had a chance to really get to know the album.
J. Cole is currently preparing for the massive The Fall-Off world tour, which will kick off on July 11th and will feature 73 stops, concluding on December 12th in Johannesburg, South Africa.
