Ice Cube is not endorsing any candidate in the 2024 presidential election but has been accused of being a secret supporter of Donald Trump.
Ice Cooper has a message for anyone who thinks he supports Donald Trump or the Make America Great Again fanatics.
While the hip-hop icon has not endorsed Democratic or Republican candidates in this year’s election, he has faced claims that he is actually a Donald Trump supporter.
However, he made his position clear in a recent interview. He told Baller Alert that anyone who thinks he supports the MAGA movement is wrong.
“People who think I’m a MAGA or Trump supporter…I go out and vote Republican…they make me angry,” he asserted.
Ice Cube insists he has never expressed support for Donald Trump and has not endorsed any candidate in the past. “It’s just a false narrative,” he said, adding that the belief stemmed from his participation in Trump’s “contract with black America.”
Back in 2020, Ice Cube caused a stir with his plan to work with Trump to address racial injustice.
“Both sides came to me,” the NWA legend explained. “I’ve discussed it with Democrats and I’ve discussed it with Republicans.”
Ultimately, Ice Cube said, while the Biden campaign wants to wait until after the election, Trump’s team hopes to use some of his ideas in their “Platinum Plan.”
“This was done by their own think tank,” he said of the plan. “They came up with this. People said this was my plan, so they followed it. But, they were stupid because that wasn’t true.

Ice Cooper defends working with Donald Trump
In October 2020, Ice Cube explained that he had never met Trump or spoken directly to him about the Platinum Project. He also defended working with him following the backlash.
“Every side is a dark side for us in America,” Ice Cooper tweeted. “Until we get some change, they’re all the same. They’re all lying, they’re all cheating , but we cannot afford not to negotiate with anyone in power or our situation in this country will never change.
Meanwhile, Ice Cube is preparing to release his eleventh studio album, Man Down.
“My fans have been waiting for this album,” he said of the project. “This is my first day of, no, b########, hardcore hip-hop.”
“Man Down” is scheduled to be released this Friday (November 22).
