Over the past two decades, Diddy has diversified his business ventures into various lifestyle areas—not just music. This is smart because he lost a lot when Biggie died. But he’s delved into fashion with Sean John, a line of scented fragrances with Diageo, spirits and alcoholic beverages (Cirono vodka remains popular), and even a TV show with Revolt Network cooperation. By 2020, his pre-tax income was close to $1 billion.

In 2019, Forbes estimated Diddy’s wealth at $740 million, but Diddy and his team swear he has already achieved billionaire status. Now, they say they have provided no documentation to support that claim. So, what did Didi do with them? I haven’t confirmed this, but former Forbes editor Zack O’Malley wrote an article saying that Diddy has achieved Billy’s status. This is on the blog. I think they found a way to promote Jay-Z’s status over the years, by any means necessary. Today, Forbes conservatively estimates his net worth at $400 million.
Diddy is currently facing a major legal challenge, and he appears to be losing a lot of money. His freedom and wealth face existential threats due to a serious civil case against him and a possible federal investigation into human trafficking. I think RICO is coming soon, but we’ll see. He was either selling the property because he was intimidated by the raid or trying to make money for his legal defense.
Anyway, this is crazy!
