Harlem’s own Posta Boy, famed for his early-2000s 106 & Park Freestyle Fridays run, has passed away at the age of 43.
Known for sharp lyricism and fearless delivery, Posta Boy helped redefine battle rap during BET’s golden era. Tributes have poured in from fellow MCs, including Jae Millz and Loaded Lux, who credited him for “setting the tone for lyrical warfare.”
The underground community is holding a memorial freestyle event in Harlem this weekend in his honor.
