Halle Bailey has shared a snippet of a new song that appears to be about her breakup from DDG after the couple announced their split earlier this month. She shared a snippet of the unreleased song on her Instagram Story on Saturday. “Everything about me splits my heart in two,” she sings in the song.
When Baller Alert reposted the clip on Instagram, fans had mixed reactions. “Halle often previews her music on IG and it almost always revolves around love. Let’s not read too much into it,” one user commented. Another fan of Bailey wrote: “Look! That’s what he should be doing. Instead of str8ing it to the internet lol… You want to be an artist now instead of a streamer? Bring it to the booth Instead of the podcast, other users thought the whole breakup was a marketing scheme.

On October 3, DDG issued a statement on his Instagram Story, confirming for the first time that the two were going their separate ways. “After careful consideration and honest conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” he wrote at the time. “This decision was not easy, but we believe it is the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we spent together and the love we shared.” He confirmed the pair will remain friends. They welcomed their first child together late last year.
