Gunna has made a pretty bold prediction about his upcoming album One Of Wun.
TMZ caught up with the Atlanta rapper on Monday (April 29) and asked him if he thinks his next project will hit the charts.
“Of course” he replied. “Album ‘One of Wun’ – No. 1.”
“Absolutely,” he said without hesitation about the upcoming record surpassing his critically acclaimed 2023 album A Gift & A Curse .

Gunna’s last album was named HipHopDX’s Greatest Comeback of 2023.
News editor Andy Bustard wrote of the tracklist: “For a while, many wondered whether Gunna would be able to return to the level of success he achieved when he scored his first No. 1 album 11 months ago with DS4Ever The heights reached. Some even wonder if his career is completely over.
“With the release of his third album, A Gift & A Curse…Gunna silences his critics and proves that not even whistleblower accusations can drown out Drip King.”
He added: “Rich with infectious, powerful songs and a lack of guest features, the project embodies a provocative style that peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200, while its Platinum certified single “Fukumean” cracked the top 5 on the Hot 100, becoming one of the biggest (and most unlikely) rap songs of 2023. “
Last month, the 30-year-old revealed the cover art for “One of Wun”: a painting by artist Calvin Clausell Jr. in which the rapper’s face is painted in blue and white floral fabric cover.
While no further details about the release date were revealed in the initial announcement, the YSL rapper wrote in his Instagram post: “ONE OF WUN | ALBUM OTW.
Gunna kicks off the new album with two singles.
He dropped “Bittersweet” in February, seemingly extending an olive branch to his former Drip Harder collaborator Lil Baby, with whom he’s been exchanging shots for the past few months.
“You my man, I don’t care if we fall out, I’ll never despise you,” he spits at the beginning of the song, his first since his last record.
A month later, he again hit back at accusations of snitching on a collaboration with Offset titled “Prada Dem.” In the song, which debuted on the streaming service in mid-March, he spits: “I set the trends, I’m the trendsetter/I’m not a rat, but still a cheddar.”
