Two women were reportedly shot dead as the city gathered to celebrate the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl victory in the parade on Friday (February 14).
CBS News reported that the shooting occurred at Ben Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia near Spring Gardens, a crowd gathered to celebrate the Hawks Super Bowl Lix wins the Kansas City Chiefs.
The media reported that police said the two female victims were shot in the legs, but numerous people obviously forgot the gunshots. The women seek treatment at Medic Tent on 23rd Street and Spring Garden Street, and are in stable condition.
The situation that led to the shooting is unclear. Local reports say police are looking for suspects wearing Grey Eagle jerseys.

Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker has previously urged fans to celebrate safely and avoid climbing the ray pole.
The march route was strictly fixed, with police present, dump trucks and heavy equipment blocking the streets.
As of the latest report, no arrests related to the shooting have been confirmed.
The incident is still under investigation and details the cause of the shooting.
The shooting happened a year after a similar incident at the 2024 Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade.
As the crowd celebrated the victory, gunfire broke out near the parade route in the heart of Kansas city. The shooting killed one person and injured another 21 people.
