Guna’s attorney, Steve Sadow, clarified the whistleblowing allegations surrounding the rapper.
The high-profile lawyer took to Twitter to clarify once and for all that Gunna was not cooperating with the YSL Rico case and did nothing to harm Young Thug’s case. “I am Guna’s lawyer, but I do not speak on his behalf. This long article is just to clarify the facts,” he began.
“Gunner did not cooperate, did nothing or said anything to harm the mob’s case. He spent eight months in jail and was released in December 2022 after accepting an Alford plea. Guna’s plea could not and was not used in the mob’s trial, and he was never even named as a witness. He was sentenced to five years of probation with no reporting restrictions, no living restrictions, and no probation, according to media reports. He spent the past two years performing around the world, gaining international fame and recognition, and earning millions of dollars. Instead, Thug went to trial, ultimately pleading guilty and serving 30 months in prison, along with 15 years of probation. Conditions, not even allowed to live in Atlanta. Those who have and continue to say bad things, get over it. “It’s nothing,” he continued.

His lengthy tweet was in response to recent reports that Thugger mocked Gunna in a new song clip, which he uploaded to his Instagram Story in which he raps: “Never hook up with a rat Get together/go get some money and buy a pack.
Some users believed Thug’s code was in response to charges Gunna reported during his RICO trial. But Sado, who is also representing Donald Trump in his election crimes case, today defended Guna and dispelled the rumors with his statement.
