Glorilla is blowing up police officers because she arrested her instead of focusing on finding the suspect who broke into her home.
Glorilla’s reaction to arrest
Big Glo broke the silence of her book booked for a felony book collection Thursday (July 24) as police investigated a break-in at her home in Forsyth County, Georgia.
“Crazy.” Her tweet on X begins, which can be seen below. “My house invaded the home on Saturday. When I performed for the WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis, they weren’t focused on finding suspects, but on some marijuana. 1. I wasn’t eliminated. 2.
According to police reports on the incident, Forsyth County deputies responded to calls about breaking in Georgia, Georgia, about 1:30 a.m. on July 20. Three suspects were reportedly stealing items and fled after being shot and killed by someone at home. Glorilla did not exist during the event. No suspects were found.
However, after smelling weeds during the investigation, police found “a lot of marijuana” in the closet in the master bedroom and charged the rapper with felony possession of marijuana and possession of a Plan I control substance. She volunteered to send herself to Forsyth County Jail Monday (July 22). She was released on a margin of $22,260 that day.
Glorilla’s lawyer reacts to her arrest
Glorilla’s attorney Drew Findling has issued the following statement to XXL about the recent arrest of the rapper.
“The arrest of Gloria Woods is a disturbing window on how law enforcement priorities become,” the statement said. “Ms Woods’ residence became the target of a group of family invaders who are most likely to know they are not there. What they don’t know is that the violent entrance of her family with her is traumatized by this group, who seized high-value jewelry and once they realize there was no space available in the house, they took away high-value jewelry.
“When her family did the right thing and called law enforcement, instead of investigating violent home intrusions and thefts in Ms. Woods’ home, seek a search warrant when she found herself deemed a small amount of marijuana,” even though she wasn’t at her home. “There is no warrant issued for violent invaders. Ms. Woods is the victim, not the suspect. It’s taxes at our job and it’s absolutely incredible.”
What did the police say about Glorilla’s arrest?
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Department issued the following statement regarding Glo’s arrest.
“Homeowners are victims of serious crimes and we are committed to bringing suspects to justice,” said Sheriff Ron Freeman. “At the same time, we must continue to uphold and enforce the law in all aspects of this case.”
