GloRilla has said many times in the past that she and Rihanna are “twins,” and now with the release of Glo’s debut album cover, fans are starting to notice the similarities.
The Memphis native posted a cover of the record on Instagram on Thursday (September 19), confirming that GLORIOUS will be released on October 11.
Not long after, one of Rihanna’s fans shared GLORIOUS and Rih’s debut album Music Of The Sun side by side and pointed out the similarities.
“I literally saw the vision…” the fan wrote. In a reply, another fan imitated Glo’s accent and said: “Her sun whispers etc -“
Another fan created a side-by-side photo of Glo that looked similar to the cover of Rih’s 2010 album LOUD, adding, “I’ve never seen Rihanna and Glo in the same room. Just saying.

Last year, Gloria shared on
Why don’t you tell me Rihanna and Gloria look alike? her grandmother began.
She continued: “I can’t tell them apart on TV. That girl looks just like your daughter.
News of the album will be wonderful for Rih, as she previously inquired about its arrival while falling in love with Glo’s latest single “TGIF.”
In July, Rih privately messaged GloRilla: “Sister, you had a whole summer! I know it’s hypocritical, but when is the album coming out?
The Memphis native shared the message in a look back at the 2024 BET Awards, but also expressed her response to the “Umbrella” singer.
Rihanna’s question upset many fans, with one person joking: “Rihanna is so diabolical for wanting an album.”
Another said: “Rihanna is having too much fun! Tell her to jump on the album!
As for what fans can expect from the record, GloRilla gave fans a sneak peek earlier this week on Instagram Live by previewing a new track that draws on Southern rap classics.
In a video retweeted by The Shade Room, Big Glo can be seen rapping a snippet of a new song, which borrows its rhythm and rhythm from Foxx-a-million, Boosie’s 2017 hit “Wipe Me” Down”.
The LP follows the Memphis native’s mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang, which was released in April. The 12-track project includes appearances from Moneybagg Yo, Megan Thee Stallion, Kevo Money, Real Boston Richey and Finesse2Tymes.
