Ghostface Kira didn’t perform one of his biggest hits

Ghostface Killah has performed a variety of classic songs over the years, but there’s one song that’s highly unlikely to appear on any Wu-Tang Clan MC playlist.

On Friday (April 5), Ghost joined Big Daddy Kane for a listen to HipHopWired’s “I Got Questions,” where he revealed “All That I Got Is You” by Mary J. Blige (a classic song performed on 1996’s Iron Man) – which saddened him so much that he didn’t perform it live.

“It makes me sad,” he explained. “I didn’t really do it because it brought me back to the place we were going through. This record brings pain.”

This is just one of many gems dropped in this session, which you can check out in full below.

Ghostface isn’t shy about performing, however, as he recently proved when he took the stage with Fat Joe at the Terror Squad rapper’s recent Harlem show.

The Terror Squad boss headlined a “Fat Joe & Friends” concert at the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York City on Tuesday (April 2).

During the show, he welcomed several rap veterans on stage, such as 50 Cent, Ghostface Killah, Lil Kim, Ashanti, The LOX, Remy Ma and State Property.

The concert, held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Joey Crack’s 2004 hit “Lean Back,” also featured performances of Mobb Deep’s Havoc’s “Shook Ones, Part II” and Peter’s “DĂ©jĂ  Vu (Uptown)” Baby)” Gunz, Dipset’s “We Fly High (Ballin’)” and more.

However, those who weren’t able to see Ghost perform in Harlem can catch the Wu-Tang Clan perform when he returns to Vegas for his next show after the huge success of his first show.

Following a hugely successful debut at the Virgin Hotels Theater in Las Vegas, the orchestra has added new dates for its residency, according to a March 25 press release.

“Back by popular demand, Wu-Tang Clan: The Legend Continues…Las Vegas Residency will be performed back-to-back on Friday, September 27, 2024, and Saturday, September 28, 2024. Tickets for both shows will be available this week PT On sale to the public on Friday (March 29, 2024) at 10 a.m.,” the statement read.
