Ghetts and Digga D Tease guest star in Rapman and Netflix’s black British superhero series Supacell

Rapman and Netflix have shared the official trailer for Supacell, showing appearances from British rap stars Ghetts and Digga D.

The multi-hyphenate creator teased the highly-anticipated all-Black superhero series on Wednesday (June 12), revealing that two London rappers have guest appearances on the show.

“Things are about to get crazy,” Gates wrote alongside the trailer, a nod to his character’s name.

Meanwhile, Digga D shared his reaction via his Instagram broadcast channel from behind bars, where he is awaiting trial on drug charges. “Tiga is in his acting bag,” he wrote alongside the trailer.

Rapman found initial success in 2018’s hit three-episode web series “Shiro’s Story,” which caught the attention of Roc Nation.

Around the same time, he came up with the idea for Supacell. Back in March, Rapman posted a 2019 video in which he talked about his dream of one day making a science fiction movie.

“I didn’t think much of it at the time, it was just a concept that popped into my head,” Rapman wrote. “Like the minute I said that out loud, God said ‘It’s done,’ and here we are five years later. Sometimes you just have to say what you want to say out loud.
