Ross responds to game dissatisfaction with ‘Highway Revenge’
The game’s angry message comes in response to a dismissive IG post from Rick Ross on West Coast Rhymes on Friday (May 10). In his post (shown below), Rozai was photographed posing next to an old blood-red Chevrolet Impala. In the caption, Ross referenced a line from Game’s 2005 song “Hate It or Love It,” which ironically featured their rap rival 50 Cent.

In “Freeway’s Revenge,” which can be heard below, The Game attacks Rick Ross and slanders his good name in a four-minute diss.
“Cut open his stomach and stuff bricks in it/Put his body on a scale like there’s a fish in it,” he rhymes. “I see ab***h in him/$20 million home renovation, just to kill himself by slitting his wrists/It’s suicide, tear the Maybach open, I know the truth inside.”
The song’s title refers to Game’s use of the real-life name Ricky Donnell “Freeway Rick” Ross – the name of the notorious Los Angeles drug lord – for Ross. revenge. Freeway sued Ross twice for copyright infringement, in 2010 and 2012, but lost both cases. Freeway named Warner Music Group as a party in a 2013 lawsuit, but the court ruled in Ross’ favor, citing his First Amendment rights.
