G Herbo is convinced Juice Wrld’s fear of being arrested led him to swallow pills, leading to his accidental overdose in 2019.
On October 10, G Herbo was a guest on the Club Shay Shay podcast to talk about his upcoming album Lil Herb, marriage, Chief Keef, King Von and more. During the chat, Herbo discussed the impact of Juice Wrld’s death.
“He’s just like a good kid,” Herb said. “Even the way he died. You were fucking rich, Juice. You got pulled over by the police and you swallowed 50 pills, 40 pills… because he was scared. You get over this. And then there’s the little pills. [Police] Not given. Fuck that shit. “
“It just goes to show you how pure he is,” Herb continued. “He didn’t know any better… That’s what pisses me off the most. Like, bro, you don’t even have to do this.”
Juice Wrld died on December 8, 2019, after reportedly taking dozens of prescription pills when his private plane was searched by authorities after it landed at Chicago’s Midway International Airport. As a result, the rapper suffered a fatal epileptic seizure. His cause of death was officially ruled as “oxycodone and codeine intoxication.”
Juice Wrld’s name lives on through his music. Since his death, three posthumous albums have been released, including Legends Never Die, Fighting Demons and The Party Never Ends.
