To celebrate the anniversary of DS2, Future dug deep into the vaults and unearthed a previously unreleased footage of album standout “Rotation.”
The Freebandz boss shared the Rich Nyce-directed video on Instagram on Wednesday (July 17), which shows Hendrix and his crew at a gas station, holding one of his customary Styrofoam cups.
In his caption, the March Madness rapper acknowledged the ninth birthday of his fan-favorite album while hinting at more to come: “Unreleased, DS2 PLUTO is back after nine years. “

Speaking of “Pluto Is Back,” Future has been busy teasing a new mixtape in recent months.
In May, the Atlanta rapper sparked excitement among fans on Twitter: “I can’t sleep until it’s done #MIXTAPEPLUTO.”
Shortly after he posted this post, he seemingly announced that he would be releasing a new mixtape on May 10th, writing on social media: “May 10th [sneezing face emoji] Mixtape Pluto.
He also lashed out at an unnamed competitor, adding: “Fuck your album Shit doesn’t slap like my MIXTAPE.”
While some interpreted this as a dig at Gunna, whose One of Wun album was originally scheduled to be released on May 10, it later turned out that Future was simply referencing a song he released with Tee Grizzley, “Sweat to God.” in the lyrics.
If a new Future mixtape is released in 2024, it would add to an already stellar year for the Dungeon Family affiliate.
To date, he has released two blockbuster albums with Metro Boomin, “We Don’t Trust You” and “We Still Don’t Trust You,” both of which topped the Billboard 200 as the highest-selling albums of the year. Top of the list.
What’s more, they launched what has been called the best rap battle of all time, with Kendrick Lamar’s fiery verses on “Like That” igniting his brewing feud with Drake A long-standing feud.
The latter album also contains numerous shots of the Big Six featuring A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd and Future himself.
