Future and Metro Boomin may be adding another No. 1 album to their respective catalogs. The duo’s “We Don’t Trust You” is predicted to top the charts for the first time.
HitsDailyDouble reports that “We Don’t Trust You” may have sold more than 200,000 copies in its first seven days of release. The media predicts that Future and Metro Boomin’s collaborative project will sell between 190,000 and 220,000 units in its first week.
“We Don’t Trust You” caused a stir on the internet upon its release on March 22. In particular, the single “Like That” featuring Kendrick Lamar caused a firestorm online because it contained a diss line directed at Drake.
If “We Don’t Trust You” does reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Future will have his ninth No. 1 of his career. For example, 2022’s “I Never Liked You” hit No. 1 with first-week sales of 222,000.
Metro Boomin currently has three Billboard 200 chart-topping hits among his discography. He recently topped the weekly charts with 2022’s Grammy-nominated “Heroes & Villains.”
Additionally, the Kendrick Lamar-assisted “Like That” is currently projected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Two other “We Don’t Trust You” songs are also likely to reach the top ten.
