After delivering a series of clips, Future has finally confirmed the release date for his highly anticipated MIXTAPE PLUTO project.
The Diamond-certified, three-time Grammy Award-winning rapper officially shared details about his new project on Wednesday (September 11), including what appears to be cover artwork. “Fuck the publicity, I got this on MIXTAPE PLUTO 9/20/24,” Future wrote in the post’s caption.
In addition to announcing the project’s September 20th release date, Future also shared pre-save/pre-add links to the mixtape and released several new products, such as a physical CD copy of MIXTAPE PLUTO, via its official website FREEBANDZ.com . Other merchandise includes a limited-edition T-shirt set, as well as two vinyl variants in black and green.

The comments section of the post immediately erupted with messages of support from Future’s close associates, including his FREEBAND GANG signee Doe Boy.
“It’s crazy that after all this time you still get better and better and build different [goat emoji]”, Doe Boy wrote in the comments. Chief Keef artist Lil Gnar also chimed in: “Streets Ready 4 it.”
Over the past month, Future has been releasing new trailers, including clips from the song “TOO FAST,” giving fans a glimpse into the world of MIXTAPE PLUTO. Future has also previously shared clips from several tracks purportedly featured on the mixtape, including a clip of his collaboration with Travis Scott, which has sparked a frenzy on social media over the past few weeks.
Earlier this week, Future completed the critically acclaimed sold-out WE TRUST YOU TOUR with Metro Boomin. The run saw the two superstars travel across North America – including historic nights at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Atlanta’s State Farm Arena and Los Angeles’ new Intuit Dome. Billboard called the show “a testament to the true depth of Future’s catalog and hits,” while GQ celebrated the fact that “two great albums and a revitalizing live show confirmed that Future’s power is as strong as ever powerful.
The aptly titled tour is in support of Future and Metro Boomin’s explosive, chart-topping collaborative album WE DON’T TRUST YOU, released earlier this year, and its follow-up WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU. The albums highlighted the duo’s magnetic chemistry (which Rolling Stone called “seamless”) and continued to capture the attention of the entire music industry, sparking competitive interest in a way not seen in years. The albums officially put Future’s ninth and tenth albums at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, while “Like That,” a collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. .
