Foolio was shot and killed on June 23 while celebrating his 26th birthday at a Holiday Inn in Tampa, Florida.
At a recent funeral in his hometown of Jacksonville, friends and family had the chance to say goodbye to him, and they happily sang Foolio’s Yungeen Ace diss “When I See You.” Video of the unconventional chorus began circulating on social media on Sunday (July 7).
“He went out to eat on his sixth birthday,” one woman says in the video. “Four shot, three dead in the worst way (damn) / He kept laughing at me (what happened?) / Now we smoked 23.”

The feud between Foolio and Yungeen Ace goes back many years. Yungeen Ace released a “Do it” video just hours after the former was murdered. Although the song doesn’t mention Foolio’s name or his death, the song’s video is eerily reminiscent of the incident at the hotel, including several masked men mowed down in what appears to be the hotel’s parking lot a man.
Yungeen Ace, Foolio and their respective gangs Ace’s Top Killers (ATK) and Kill Them All (KTA) have been feuding since around 2015. Shot to death during the war.
As Foolio mentioned in When I See You , in June 2018, Yungeen Ace and three others (including his brother Trevon Bullard) were celebrating a birthday when someone opened fire on their car. Brad and two others were killed, including Ice’s brother, and the rapper survived after being shot eight times. Foolio was grazed by a bullet in 2021 and was the target of another shooting last year. He was hit on the foot, and in fact, in a recent Instagram photo, he was still wearing a walking boot.
Apparently, Foolio didn’t survive the latest shooting. So far, Tampa police have not released information on possible suspects. Meanwhile, the person responsible for the Foolio Instagram account has been teasing Yungeen Ace, continuing their controversial and deadly feud.
On June 28, Yungeen Ace released a new song and video for “Game Over” on his YouTube channel, in which he appears to mock Foolio (again). Yungeen Ace posted the video and song on Instagram, where people using the Foolio account immediately labeled it “junk,” although the comment has since been deleted. Yungeen Ace replied: “Are you still with me bro? I love you 4EVA.
These strange exchanges left many fans confused. Some people actually believe Foolio is still alive, while others believe his family is promoting it on his Instagram page to help pay for his funeral.
