Flau’jae Johnson was able to collaborate with Lil Wayne on the song “Came Out a Beast” from her new project Best of Both Worlds. The LSU Tigers basketball star dropped the nine-song album on Friday. In a statement captured by Complex, she said of the collaboration: “Working with Lil Wayne on ‘Came Out a Beast’ was a surreal experience. His energy and talent pushed me to new heights.
In this song, Flau’jae talks about her basketball skills rather than the making of Dolla Baby. Fans on YouTube have been loving the song. “Flau’jae breaks it down and Wayne just rolls it up,” one user commented. Another netizen wrote: “Short, you are a beast because you still are. Playing basketball at a high level and arguably one of the most exciting female MCs! Keep up the good work and you will be there soon. time. The project also includes NLE Choppa and 2Rare.

The album’s title comes from her love of basketball and music. “I love combining my two talents. The best of both worlds shows that you don’t have to choose one path – you can excel in multiple areas,” Flau’jae said. “This project reflects who I am – a basketball player, a rapper and a person who refuses to be boxed in. I hope my fans can feel the passion and dedication I put into every song.”
