Fat Joe summoned Montana, France in the recent “Joe & Jada” podcast, exaggerated his role for his Grammy-nominated hit single “Along the Way.”
The Bronx rapper plays a funny yet sharp poke in his longtime collaborator, saying the French keeps talking like he carries a repertoire.
“You know your man in France, Montana, that #### delusional man,” Joe said with a smile. “We did ‘all the way’ with Montana, France. That boy, he was talking about that golden voice…he just won too much honor for it. There were a lot of n ##### signed to delusion records. I’m honest with you.”

The track also featured Remy Ma, which achieved a significant success in 2016, earning a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song. But after the honor, the song has been at the center of a messy tug of war.
Joe’s remarks are underway under legal tensions. Miami rapper Fly Havana accused Joe and France of Montana for excluding him from the song’s creative points and profits.
The proactive lawsuit claims Havana co-wrote the track but has never been properly recognized or paid. Although the legal struggle continues, Joe has been aware of France’s contributions, but insists that credit should be shared equally.
He made it clear that the French narrative did not match the reality of how the song merged.
Meanwhile, Joe and Jadakiss have been making a sensation with their “Joe & Jada” podcast.
Their recent interview with Clipse (the duo of Pusha T and Malice) became popular after they previewed a track from the band’s upcoming album Let Let God Comple Out.
In the clip shared online, Joe and Jada reacted to Kendrick Lamar’s “chain and whip” with the title: “@jadakiss face says everything @clipse and @kendricklicklamar go crazy about it.”
