Last week, relations between Remima and her husband Papus turned ugly when she took to social media to accuse him of having an affair. She shared various screenshots showing him texting professional boxer Clarissa Shields. In the messages, Shields appeared to express interest in receiving gifts, flowers and more from Paps. He then fired back, bringing up Remy’s own romance with block captain Eazy, which has been rumored for months. Remy and Shields ended up going back and forth over X, and Eazy eventually even came to his defense, accusing Paps of knowing about his relationship with Remy for years. Now, one of Raimi’s closest collaborators, Fat Joe, has weighed in on it all and revealed why he decided not to be involved.
During a recent appearance on Maas Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast, he explained that while he’s not happy about the feud, it’s not his place to get involved. “she [Remy Ma] Never told me about her personal relationship, but what I do know is that I left you guys last night and we went to a Brooklyn diner and she had 10 grown men over for dinner and I woke up in the morning and my phone was going crazy, ” he began. “They were like, ‘Yo, look what’s going on. I’m like, what the hell is this?
Fat Joe reveals why he won’t be involved
“She made me love him because of him,” Fat Joe continued. Old school morals and shit, like I’m the godfather of these people, I don’t like that shit.
“I can’t stop it or they won’t listen to me,” he added. “The first time she came to me for advice, I said, ‘Listen, this is different. You have a husband and this is your husband. No one comes to my house and tells my wife. This is your husband, I can’t get involved in that matter […] My goddaughter is the most beautiful child in the world…she’s so…you know, I hope this doesn’t happen.
