After a video showed Coi Leray and Trippie Redd kissing during a recent show, fans began to wonder if they would get back together.

Coi Leray posted a video on Instagram on Friday (August 23) of her final show in Columbus, Ohio, as part of Jhené Aiko’s Magic Hour tour. During the show, she brought on Trippie Redd as a surprise guest, giving Coi a big long hug and a kiss on her lips before leaving the stage.
“Thank you for being there for me on my last show day in Ohio,” Coy wrote in the video. “@trippieredd the world loves you and I love you too.”
Fans immediately began speculating whether the couple, who briefly dated in 2019, were back together.
“I’ve been waiting for this spin for a while,” one user wrote. Another added: “I’ve always loved them together and I think they love each other.”

Coi and Trippie Redd’s messy breakup
Coi and Trippe were dating back in 2019, but had a very public and acrimonious breakup in September of that year. In an interview with No Jumper a few weeks after their breakup, Coi said she didn’t appreciate Trippie dissing her on his 2019 song “Leray,” but said she still loved him.
“You know, we do have something outside of music. So I was like damn, let’s really go ahead and, like, if you have something to say, let’s get together and you say it to my face. That shit,” Coi said at the time.
