On Friday (July 5), photos began to surface on social media of Michael Rubin’s all-white party held at his mansion on Thursday (July 4). Drake was one of the A-listers in attendance, and he posed for photos with Michael. However, this particular image generated a lot of attention and discussion among fans.
In the widely circulated photo below, Drake looks visibly older as he stands next to Michael, the founder and CEO of global sportswear company Fanatics. Hundreds of people on X (formerly Twitter) expressed their thoughts on the older OVO Sound leader.
Some fans believe Drizzy’s rap battle with Kendrick Lamar took a toll on his age. Others believe Drake’s partying lifestyle is taking away from his youthful appearance.

While people talk about Drake’s visibly older appearance in a photo from a Michael Rubin party, fans are also confused by the Toronto rap star’s wax figure at Madame Tussauds.
Madame Tussauds New York unveiled its revamped music area on Tuesday (July 2), which includes a new wax figure of Drake. The Drizzy statue is wearing a khaki jacket, gray T-shirt, black and khaki tie-dye jeans, a pair of white Air Force 1 sneakers and signature jewelry. The character is also pictured with his signature owl hand gesture.
Some fans are divided on how they feel about the Drake wax figure.
“This looks exactly the same for him,” one person wrote, while another added, “Looks better than Drake.”
Others had no feelings and were disgusted by the waxy six gods.
Another fan wrote: “That’s not Drake, that’s Lake.”
