YouTube creator and rapper CoreySSG is facing serious criminal charges after being accused of kidnapping two women during a high-speed accident in Houston, Texas.
CoreySSG, formerly known as Corey Pritchett, has a digital presence with over 1 million YouTube subscribers and over 15 million social media followers across platforms.
He was charged with one count of aggravated kidnapping.
According to court records, the alleged activities began on Nov. 23, 2024, when the women joined CoreySSG for a day of planned activities, including ATV riding, bowling and exercise classes.
The pleasant outing reportedly turned frightening while driving along Interstate 10.
The internet celebrity allegedly drove at over 100 mph while brandishing a gold handgun, which he brandished on the sunroof before firing several shots out the window.
The women claimed he made threatening comments, confiscated their cellphones and stranded them on the side of the road near Seeley, Texas.
Investigators used GPS data from the Life 360 mobile app connected to one of the women’s phones to piece together a timeline and route of events.
Screenshots obtained during the investigation included timestamps and location evidence consistent with their accounts.
Authorities also noted that CoreySSG allegedly made video calls to people listed as “future wives” while driving, asking for advice on harming the women.
On December 9, 2024, just weeks after the alleged kidnapping, CoreySSG purchased a one-way ticket to Qatar.
He could not be contacted as his phone was switched off. Authorities are currently working to extradite him to the United States.
Pritchett addressed the situation via Instagram, saying: “I will address all charges in court.”
