Erykah Badu and the Alchemist announced that they were working on a joint album, putting the internet on fire.
The duo has produced a new album called Abi & Alan, which will be Badu’s first album in 15 years. The first single from the project “next to” has been released, but today, they have another exciting message to show fans.
The pair will make their debut for fans in a live show at the upcoming U.S. tour and then offer it on streaming platforms. “”Abi & Alan Luv Is Tour” (August 8-24) will provide viewers with exclusive opportunities to experience the entire album live by Badu and Cannabinoids ahead of the official launch on August 29, 2025,” the press release said.
Before it was officially released in studio format, artists did not often choose to release the entire album first.
